~ HOW IT'S DONE ~
With the visual aid of a reference photo (or photos) sent to me by the client in an e-mail attachment, I hand-paint the portrait in oil on canvas. This usually takes around three to four weeks but can take longer depending on workload. Client input into the planning of their pet portrait is welcomed and encouraged.
A pictorial background, based on your photo or suggestion, can be requested to personalize your pet portrait and enhance it aesthetically. Or, simple background hues can be chosen to compliment room decor.

After I have accepted your photo(s) as a basis for the portrait, a refundable deposit of 10% of the portrait fee is required to reserve for you a place in my list of commissions. This deposit can be sent to me via PayPal or by check or money order via regular mail. PayPal payments are made through a link to PayPal's secure payment webpage, which I email to you.
Then what happens?
When work on your portrait
is complete, I will email a photo to you of the completed portrait.
Reasonable alterations can be made to the portrait if desired.
If at that time you decide to not proceed with purchase, your initial deposit is refunded to you.
Once you have emailed your approval, delivery of the portrait is made (normally via USPS), commensurate with
payment in full.
Portraits are shipped in a sturdy padded container and are fully insured in case of damage or loss.
Since I began painting pet portraits in 1991, not a single client of mine has declined or returned their portrait. All of my portraits have been received by their owners without any damage, and none have been lost. I have a success record of 100%.
Money-back guaranteeReturn your undamaged portrait within 15 days of the postmarked date for a full refund if you are not fully satisfied. There is no risk.
Credit or debit card payments via PayPal:
PayPal can process your payment even if you do not have a PayPal account. When you are ready to purchase your portrait, I will send you a PayPal invoice via email which enables you to pay using their user-friendly and secure online payment system.
